About ShaderScope
Context for shader presets, without the guesswork.
ShaderScope is a local-first browser and Windows desktop utility for inspecting, repairing, comparing, organizing, and safely managing ReShade preset configuration.
Beta: ShaderScope is currently in beta. Results may not be perfect, so review repairs before using exported presets.
Make configuration legible
Preset files can be hard to understand because technique names, package sources, parameters, and runtime requirements are split across several places. ShaderScope aims to assemble that context without pretending uncertainty is fact.
Show evidence and uncertainty
Matches, requirements, warnings, and performance categories should remain traceable and clearly distinguish known facts from likely conclusions.
Support more than one ecosystem
ReShade is the starting point. The architecture keeps parsing, normalization, analysis, and registry concerns separate so GShade, vkBasalt, Special K, and other systems can be considered later.
Respect the surrounding projects
ShaderScope will not redistribute third-party shader files or binaries. It is an independent tool, not an official ReShade product or an endorsement by package creators.
Available tools
The browser provides source-aware analysis and an explicit-save local workspace. The Windows app adds installation scanning, immutable plans and app-data backups, verified journaled apply, rollback and recovery, and signature-required updates. There is no account, cloud sync, or telemetry.
ShaderScope is an independent community tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the ReShade project. No third-party binaries are distributed by this project.
